Event Information
July 25, 2009 will mark the Second Annual Soldier Ride The Hamptons.
Join hundreds of people in a day of fun and celebration while helping to support our Nation's Wounded Veterans! Challenge yourself to bike 28 or 65 miles or walk 4 miles and raise money for The Wounded Warrior Project. Come out to meet, ride with and honor wounded veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. Strollers and Runners Welcome.
Registration Fees: Over 21-$50, 21 and Under-$25, Walk Only-$25. Event t-shirt to all participants (while supplies last). Raise $500 or more and receive a free Soldier Ride cycling jersey (while supplies last).

Through Wednesday, July 22

Friday, July 24
5-9 pm, Early Packet pick up, Stephen Talkhouse, 161 Main Street, Amagansett, NY 11930, (631) 267-3142.
Saturday, July 25
8-10 am, American Legion Post 419-Amagansett and 9-11 am Long Wharf-Sag Harbor, 'day of' registration and packet pick up. Bagels, fruit and coffee will be available.
Day of event parking at Terry King Ballfield, Abrahams Path, 1 mile north of the American Legion Amagansett.
9:45 am, Opening ceremony and ride start, American Legion Amagansett.
10 am - 4 pm, Ride support at rest stops and on route.
11:30 am, Tribute to honor LCpl Jordan Haerter, USMC, Sag Harbor Wharf.
12 pm, riding resumes, Sag Harbor walk begins. 'Honor Our Heroes' - The Wounded Warriors and 1st Battalion, 9th Marines proudly ride up and down Main Street and head out over Jordan's bridge, leading the start of the Sag Harbor event
4 pm, support ends. All riding and walking should be completed.
